This policy explains how "The Critical Point" (fncuthdert.com — the "Site") handles your information. The Site is designed to collect as little data as possible: there are no user accounts, no registration, and reading free content requires no personal information.

1. What we collect

  • Payment information: tips and article purchases are completed on Stripe's hosted pages. Your card details are processed directly by Stripe and never pass through or get stored on this Site's servers. From Stripe we receive only the transaction status, amount, and Stripe's transaction ID; the email you provide at checkout is used by Stripe to send your receipt.
  • Functional cookies: after unlocking a paid article, the Site sets an unlock-credential cookie in your browser (name starting with u_, valid for one year). It only remembers "this article is unlocked" and is not used for tracking or profiling. The Site uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
  • Server logs: the Site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps basic access logs (such as IP address and access time) for security and operations.

2. How we use it

The above is used solely to complete and verify payments, deliver paid content, handle refunds and disputes, and keep the Site secure. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Transaction records are retained per Stripe's policies and applicable law. The unlock cookie expires after one year; you may clear it at any time (access can be restored via your payment success link).

6. Minors

The Site is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
