Welcome to "The Critical Point" (临界, fncuthdert.com — the "Site"), operated by Guo Qing (Singapore). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
1. Services
The Site publishes original analysis of financial markets and macroeconomics, including:
- Free articles, available to all visitors.
- Paid articles, unlocked individually. Prices are stated in US dollars (USD) on each article page before payment.
- Tips: readers may voluntarily pay any amount ($1–$10,000) to support the author. Tips carry no promise of goods, services, or returns.
- Annual Pass: a one-time payment of $50 unlocks every paid article on the Site (including those published during the term) for one year from the time of payment. The pass does not auto-renew and involves no recurring charges; purchase again to extend.
2. Payment and delivery
All payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. The Site never receives or stores your card details. Paid articles are delivered instantly upon successful payment: the full text unlocks in your current browser for one year. The payment success page link can be saved and opened on another device or browser to restore access. For unlock issues, contact contact@fncuthdert.com.
3. Refunds
Paid articles are digital content delivered instantly upon unlock and are generally non-refundable; tips are voluntary gifts and are non-refundable. Exceptions (duplicate charges, technical failures, etc.) are set out in the Refund Policy.
4. Intellectual property
All articles, charts, and page designs on the Site are protected by copyright. Unlocking a paid article grants you a personal, non-transferable license to read it. Reselling, republishing, bulk copying, or providing paid content to third parties without written permission is prohibited; reasonable quotation with attribution and a link is welcome.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Revisions will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after a material change constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation, failing which they shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Singapore.
